According to www.earthday.org, Earth Day Network’s mission is to “broaden, diversify and activate the environmental movement worldwide, driving action year-round through a combination of education, public policy, and consumer campaigns.”

Of course we all want a clean planet, so let’s just take a moment to think about how we as individuals and groups can take concrete steps to help keep our environment clean. This is not an issue for “the other guy’ to worry about.

One of our readers, Rhonda, found a little dog recently and she asked that I post this message in hopes of finding the rightful owner. The dog was almost hit by a car and was very scared, but came to Rhonda. I guess they do know who the animal lovers are!
